Ensuring Optimal Performance with the BDPA Adjustable Differential Pressure Alarm: A Game-Changer for Industrial Applications

Series BDPA

The BDPA Adjustable Differential Pressure Alarm is a game-changer for industrial applications, offering unparalleled reliability and precision in maintaining system efficiency. The Series BDPA Adjustable Differential Pressure Alarm features integrated audible and visual set point indicators, making it ideal for overpressure, vacuum, and differential pressure applications. With its scaled adjustment knob, the switching pressure can be easily modified without the need for a pressure gauge. The BDPA offers settings ranging from 0.08″ w.c. (20 Pa) to 20″ w.c. (5000 Pa). Crafted with a silicone diaphragm and a PA 6.6 body, the Series BDPA is well-suited for use with air and other non-combustible gases.

The Series BDPA Adjustable Differential Pressure Alarms provide a flexible range of configurations to fully utilize their advanced features. The BDPA can be powered by either a battery or 24 VDC/VAC line power. When connected to line power, the battery serves as a backup in case of a power outage. Once the set point threshold is reached, the alarm activates a loud audible buzzer and a bright LED, periodically notifying users of the set point activation. An SPDT contact can also be wired to send a remote signal to a DDC or building management system. For convenience, a snooze button located through an opening in the cover allows users to manually silence the audible and visual alerts until maintenance is performed. If the device is mounted in a hard-to-reach location, a remote contact can be connected to enable the user to deactivate the buzzer and LED from a remote location.
